Accessibility

Maria Slutski is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, in keeping with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures we take

• semantic, well-structured HTML and descriptive text for assistive technologies;
• links and controls that can be operated with a keyboard;
• respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" setting, which calms animations;
• strong colour contrast between text and background.

Ongoing effort and known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some content may not yet fully meet every guideline, and we continue to make improvements over time. We welcome your input on areas that could be improved.

Alternative formats and feedback

In keeping with the AODA, we provide a process for receiving and responding to feedback about the accessibility of our website and services, and we will provide information in accessible formats on request. If you encounter a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us at info@smarterme.ca. We will acknowledge your feedback and aim to respond promptly.
